Cast member Bowen Yang, best known for a “Weekend Update” appearance in which he defends the honor of the iceberg that sank the Titanic, stars in the new sketch as the man who interrupts his friends’ conversation about popular music to declare his unbridled love for the Ohio State University Marching Band’s rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
He begins playing and dancing along with the song at the dinner table, horrifying nearly everybody else in his party. He does win over one of his tablemates, portrayed by The Batman star Zoe Kravitz. She soon joins in on his wild gesticulating and demands to know where she can hear the song.

“Don’t Stop Believin‘” was a Top 10 hit for Journey in 1981 and has remained one of their most popular songs. The track gained renewed attention in 2007 when it was used as the soundtrack for the ambiguous final scene of The Sopranos.
